This is my second week in a three day-day program for DBT.....

It's so difficult to sit there all day and absorb the words and others feelings and thoughts... my heart races the whole time!!

It's difficult to go back. I'm on lunch right now. I'm lucky I'm close enough to go home at lunch for some relief.

I will go back. This is what will help and it's a safe place. Despite my heart feeling like it'll pound out of my chest onto the floor (if my guts don't projectile outwards first), I must make it through.

LITTLE STEPS!!

I went back! And I'm glad I did... I feel better! This proves it's better to go back, even when it's hard.

DBT is much more exhausting than I anticipated. I'm grateful I'm in the right frame of mind to really focus and commit to the program.

I'm also grateful for a board like this. It's a welcome feeling to be comfortable enough here to post a message for the extra support I lack in my physical surroundings. Thanks for reading.

Well done for going back! :thumbsup

I'm really glad it's starting to help. Just knowing you made the right decision, even though it was really difficult and scary, can be a huge boost. Keep up the good work.
