That's really great Okwoman!
But be careful not to hold yourself up to too high a standard. We all make mistakes, especially in the recovery process. You can try to minimize those mistakes with that good attitude you are displaying....but we can't be perfect. Try not to expect perfection out of yourself, it just won't happen-- we're all human. It's wonderful you have such determination--I admire it!-- but no one can do the 'right' thing (healthy thing) all of the time. All we can do is our best. Sometimes that doesn't turn out to be really the healthiest way (at least for me), but we just keep getting up again and trying anew.

I want to be stable for the rest of my life instead of living in the past.
Fantastic goal!
How exactly can you achieve it? We can't just want these things to happen, IMO, we have to have a realistic plan on how to do it. You may have a plan in your mind....I just wanted to make sure you have thought of ways to do it rather than just vowing it is going to happen. Without a plan for success, we are usually doomed to repeat the patterns that keep us in the past. At least, for me that's how it works.
Best wishes to you!
