I’m new to this site and new to dealing will all these tools, and to be honest I have so much work to do it’s seems unreal to accept that I think the way I do, but it is what it is.
I have learned one thing that I know will get me through this: being good to me! I understand and accept that the little voice inside me is my best friend and will always be there to supportive of me, no matter what mistakes I make or setbacks I have.
Most of the other issues in my life (the ones in my head) are a messy – but I can have learned to laugh at them (almost like there not really me) and just keep working on the tools. I will have good days and bad days but I will do my best to be good to myself everyday. Why? because doing anything else is not in my best interest.

Here here. I second that. :))

I'm glad for you. It's a great foundation, taking care of yourself. You will feel so much stronger and ready to fight the other stuff after making this a central habit in your life.

Wow Anchorage, I really like these - you've shared something that I feel that would be a useful approach for me now, thanks.

Anchorage,

I like your posts, you are very thoughtfully spoken. I don't know any other borderlines and it's cool to read someone expressing things that I have done or thought or felt and can relate to.
I love your attitude and I think you are right about taking care of yourself being important. I'm really new here too, but the stuff on here is amazing, very soundly constructed.
