So, I was chosen as one of the two employees of the month for November. I get my own parking space for the month! LOL. Actually, I'm pretty proud. I've only been at my job since February and to be one of the top two performing agents for the month out of the hundreds of folks I work with is pretty cool.

You totally rock, chica! But then, you knew that. Does the honor make the rough days a little more bearable?

Awesome!! Congratulations!!

I know sometimes you've been frustrated, both by the stresses of always having to make nice to nasty people on the phone, and also by a lack of recognition from management. I'm glad they've finally seen how much you're putting into your job, and how productive you really are.

Enjoy that parking space! I guess that means you're able to drive again?

Thanks guys! :) Yeah, having this little "at-a-girl!" has made tougher situations a bit easier. Which was kinda funny because I found out Friday during our team meeting, and that Friday I'd had such a horrible call that I had to get off the phone and cry for like 10 minutes. That hadn't happened in MONTHS! I let the woman push my buttons. Specifically, she said I wasn't helpful to her at all and her customer service experience with me was sorely lacking. Argh. So I was bad and had a martini at lunch. Came back and got this nice surprise! It didn't pull me up all the way, though, and I got trashed Friday night. Old coping mechanisms rise again. Sigh... But I can see exactly what happened and I didn't dwell on it for days. That's a huge improvement.

And I'm glad the folks in charge seeing how much effort I'm putting in to this, too!

Yes, Sari, I can drive again. I'm free! LOL
