Today was my 2nd session with my therapist.

I feel like we really bonded with each other, as opposed to our 1st session where we were basically just getting to know each other.

I also brought up that I think I have BPD, and she didn't berate me for trying to diagnose myself or take offense, like I was trying to tell her how to do her job.

Instead she ACTUALLY seemed sort of pleased with me, which made me feel good.

I told her about this site, and she seemed to think it was a great idea. She also thought "the tools" would be great for me and explained to me in greater detail how to use them for my particular problems.

YAY! I feel good!

Sorry I didnt see this sooner.

Congrats on speaking up and for trusting you know what may be helpful to you. I like that your T found ways to validate you and meet you on your journey to health. Sounds like therapy is off to a great start.. seems she is ready to work beside you, vs trying to lead you.

With such encouragement good things are definitely in store for you !

Lauren, I too apologize for not seeing this sooner. That's a fabulous start! How frequently will you be seeing her?
