caeful or i will give you the other colored m and ms from ibf share. he only wants red ones.....

lol, you. believe me, when your sitting with your kid and they are crying and wanting to die again, even tho they had their stomach pumped already once this year, this, too, shall pass works well.

so does "Lord help me change the things i can and accept what i cant change".

hands you john wayne toilet paper, "tough as nails and doesnt take shit off no one" haha. i bought my son some of that when he was in iraq the last time. not this time...he is back again....

Mine's been "My end is my beginning" for awhile. It was the lifelong motto of a historical figure I study in great depth, and she used it to mean that even her darkest moments provided growth for better, beautiful things.

I'm not sure if I still hold to it, but it's a beautiful thought!

one mantra i have been trying to say to myself is "one day at a time". it helps me to not feel so overwhelmed by everything when my anxiety levels are high and i am obsessing over all of the "need to"s, "have to"s, and "should"s in my life.

those are good! better than mine because i do have a hard time applying it to myself when i am feeling really crappy. sometimes even a whole day can seem like eternity.

maybe i will try those too.

Here are my two favorite ones, I use them according to what I have to deal with at the moment:

1. "It is what it is" :bored
2. "Never give up and never give in" :nope

I loved what M J Blighe said on Oprah. Something like, "I blame them for nothing, and forgive them for everything". I thought that's so awesome!

I also like, "Be the change that you what to see in the world". I don't even remember where I had seen that one but I do like it.

Mine is "A Return to Love." It is from Marianne Williamson's book. To me it means no matter how many times I fail to be loving I still have another chance to return to love. I always thought I was a "bad" person because I could not "stay" loving. Now I realize I can return to love as often as I need to. My other favorite expressions are "Be patient, God is not through with me yet," and "I am a work in progress."
