When we first got here, on the integrated site/board, the PM limits for Inbox, Sentbox and Savebox were set at 50 as the software default.

This limit was increased to 100 for each box but now - with the larger number of members, increased usage and database size - we're seeing that the default of 50 was probably there for a reason.

For the interim, the limits have been "met in the middle" at 75 for each box. If the system remains cluttered and large, we may end up going back to 50 for each box.

Remember - there is always email for chatting off-board if your boxes tend to fill up quickly and there are a number of totally free email services that do not require you to reveal identifying information!
