hi, not new to the forum but have never introduced myself, so here is my story. I'm sure I'm one of the oldest members - and recently took early retirement from an organization I worked for over 30 years. As a result of the retirement and loss of structure (and also, I guess, loss of my pre-determined 'role' at work) my anxiety levels have been through the roof.

Finally properly diagnosed with BPD and BP within the last 3 years, I have been through DBT and am working with a good T, along with taking medications for which I am so grateful - imagine more than 40 years of daily depression and sporadic self-harm, alleviated to a great degree - it gives me a more level playing field to work on my issues.

Look forward to participating more in the way of contributing to discussions, not just observing. Wish me luck!
