I am new to this and hope for some help and understanding. I have suffered from BPD all of my life and only recently did I understand how to purposefully change my behaviors..as in DBT. I want to learn more and my biggest obstacle is my isolation and loneliness.
In the past three years I have ended the few relationships that I did have hoping to replace them with healthier ones. That has not happened yet. I realize that I don't have the skills yet to choose the right people or to maintain relationships.
I am still in contact with my grown son, though we don't communicate in any meaningful way, though I have asked if we can.
Well, I hope that I put this in the right place and also that someone is out there..

Hi Ash,
I have downloaded the tools so that I can see them even when I am not online. Just posting here has given me some sense of hope and connection with others which is my greatest challenge.
Thank you for your warm welcome and I will slowly try to get to know others on this site and use tools as I understand them.
peace
