I have recently been diagonosed with BPD after a long battle of finding out what was wrong with me I have come looking for some people who understand the journey I have been on and to see if it really is possible to get better.

Hi CC,

Hey, first of all, you are not crazed, ha,ha. You've just got some quirks that need some tweeking---but you've come to a good place.

It is DEFINITELY possible to get better---please believe that. It's hard work, but you can do it.

Welcome,

Dagwood

Thankyou dagwood for your confidence, I do hope so but as you say hard work. It is really nice to finally find someone who doesn't write off BPD as a life sentence. Things have been really hard this year but I am hoping the right diagnosis and help will improve things. How have things been for you??

CC,

I guess things for me have been pretty good the last year, as I was put on an antidepressant which seems to help. I do at times get sudden bouts of melancholia when I think about my parents. They've both been gone for sometime----but I'm glad I still have many good memories of them both. I have a wonderful man in my life, and that has made a big difference in the way I deal with depression. However; I know that I could deal with life on my own, if necessary.

Recovery has been the most difficult thing I've ever had to do.

Dagwood
