Hey, i'm male and 22 I've been diagnosed with Emotionally unstable personality disorder and adult Adhd
(and other stuff). At the moment i'm really struggling with intense emotions and really impulsive behaviour.
I feel like a complete let down, and I really can't seem to move on after my last relationship. My behaviour can be aggressive and I keep doing things that get me into trouble. I want to be able to be a better person, who can care for others a lot more and someone who is better at looking after themselves.

Yeah i know it is the same thing - i just think the Emotionally Unstable Personality describes what's going much better than Borderline. = P Yeah I am. Well not really therapy I'm going on Strattera (she would like to put me on ritalin, and thinks its the best but i've abused a lot of drugs) for the ADHD and I spoke to the Dr about getting someone to go over maybe a DBT work book and she said that she doesn't think I'd respond well to therapy with the untreated ADHD (which is fair enough as whenever i'd go to a meeting or something each week with someone and i'd make up my mind in the meeting about what i needed to do, and i'd forget etc. and start doing other stuff) though therapy is a mideterm goal and I want to get the work book as I think it'd be good to go over the emotional stuff. Though she said if i'm still having moodswings and a low mood it might be a good idea to try a moodstabiliser like seroquel.
