Hi, I'm 21, I'm from Scotland.

I'm currently waiting on a formal diagnosis for what seems to be BPD. I'm waiting on appointments with my psychiatrist but it just takes forever.

Someone recommended that I join an online BPD community for more support and so I could talk to more people who had the same experiences as me. Currently I've never spoken to other people who think the way I do.

It's really frustrating when nobody understands how you feel or how you act and just think you're crazy or worrying to be around. It's only as I began to learn more about BPD that I realised I really just didn't think at all like other people. I just assumed it was normal before. Things make a bit more sense with the understanding that it's not.

Hopefully once I get formally diagnosed it wont take forever (wont hold my breath on it though...) to get into a treatment program. If it does I might try and go private, I don't know.

So, yeah. Hi guys. :)

Hi Storm,

It would be great for you to be involved in a treatment plan. You're young and can make changes and hold a lot of hope. There's a wealth of information here on the board and plenty of support and understanding. I'm glad you found us.

Luna

Hi Storme!

I'm new here too. :) Hope to see you around, and I hope some treatment options open up for you soon.
