hi, my name is erin, i am a nineteen year old girl who has been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and depression

i was sick for most of my adolescence, and during that time my mental problems intensified. i started getting physically better, then met my first boyfriend, who i was with for a year, made a group of friends, and was highly motivated by my experiences with them. now, properly diagnosed, in therapy, with medications both i and my psychiatrist feel are a good fit, i'm trying to make some progress - i have a lot of work to do, trying to get caught up after being so ill for so many years, but also with regulating my emotions and anxiety as i try to establish a life for myself.

i joined these forums to both get and give some support to others struggling with similar issues, and to help keep me focused. so hi, nice to meet you, best of luck in your own progress (:
