I attended a NAMI presentation last week on BPD led by an individual from our local Medicaid psych provider. I was extremely hesitant going in, since I've had a lot of "professional" presentations where I completely disagreed with everything that was said. In fact, that's why I made the effort specifically to attend, since I wanted to offer the "flip side" of the coin if the need came up. I was surprisingly impressed by the presentor & his perspective on BPD.
In fact, so much so that I've bought multiple copies of his pamplet to hand out to those who are trying to understand the complexity of BPD. Of course I have no assosiation with this organization & don't make anything whatsoever for sharing info on their products, just thought someone might be interested.
