I feel like she is faking her depression, I think that she is doing it all to gain my dad's attention. He spoils her to no end after she has been hospitalized for telling her school social worker that she wants to die.
I know I should probably accept it, but before she told everyone she had depression, she did fine in school, she was not gloomy and moody, and she apparently had it then too. Why is she worse now that she has told every one that she's sick?
I'm sick of it. I really don't want to lose it and just end up yelling and being angry at her and accusing her of faking it and wanting attention. Thank goodness she lives in Michigan (I live in IL) But, I am seeing her next weekend. ARGH HELP.

It sounds like you might do well to take a good look at your feelings surrounding jealousy and the attention other people get, why they get it, whether it's good or bad attention, how it really & truly impacts you (does it cost you money, opportunity, etc.?), why you have such strong reactions to it, etc.
