I think habits can play a huge part in all of this. Trinity, I recently read the 10 forms of twisted thinking but am curious of any tips you have since you said you went through this exercise. Thanks!

Hi Jordan. I split your question out of me91's thread so we could focus on one subject at a time.
Something that worked well for me was to take a note pad and jot down what I was thinking and how I felt. For example:
- I am such a loser - Nothing ever goes right for me - I'm never going to be happy
That's an old list of mine. So I made my list and then sat with that list and the 10 forms of twisted thinking. Can you see the distortion in my thinking. Can you link each statement to a form of twisted thinking? Sometimes it's easier trying to figure it out from the outside before you can use the tool to figure things out yourself. It's all about practice.
