My store I was assistant manager of shut down in March. I've gone to several places that were hiring and even though I have college I havent even been able to get an interview. I can't even get jobs that require only a high school diploma filing papers!

Today I went to a place that my mom found in a small website, not even local paper or the local government-run job board. I went in and was interviewed by two people and walked out with the job!

I was getting discouraged (even though I hadn't even been unemployed a month) and feeling really bad about myself on top of having a terible problem with a classmate in school. I was feeling as if my school was doing me no good. Even though the job isn't requiring schooling, I still feel good about everything. I'm nervous, but happy.

I start tomorrow morning at 7:30. very nervous. All the people seem very nice and easy going. I just hope I can learn their computer system.

It was very crazy. the guy who was to train me was not there. He was sick. His wife was there helping but she knew only a bit more than I did! Hoping tomorrow goes better. I need it after the rough day I've had today.

Good luck forsaken! Starting a job is so stressful but luckily it does seem to get better if you can just get through the first few weeks. Hopefully then it won't be as overwhelming and you'll feel more comfortable.

Congratulations!
