I'm finally taking this step to being better. IDK how well this will work or help but, it feels good to know I'm not alone. I was diagnosed last year with BPD, after me and my spouse were fighting so much and he had asked that I see somebody, hahaha, thought it was bipolar! They then put me on medication, and shoved me in group therapy.... IDK how they called that group therapy when only the counselor talked, idiot, only talked about endless mood paradox. The medication made me worse, and I ended up in an accident, and was hospitalized for 2 weeks. Now I don't take medication, or listen to some fat twit that doesn't even have a disorder, and I try and cope with the swings. I honestly feel better than being on medication, I have more happier moods, but, anger really takes over too. I have accepted this, and that's a big step, next is putting in the effort to control myslef.

I completely understand, while I have not been diagnosed I fully relate to 90% of what everyone on here is going through emotionally and mentally. I hate the anger/rage swings. I don't feel in control, but I know they aren't really me. Like a part of my brain knows I shouldn't be angry at all but I can't help it. I'm just like you, looking for support and new, healthier coping mechanisms than yelling and screaming and wanting to hurt people. And that's just one of the many things I feel are "wrong" with me, I feel crazy like no one understands, I'm just overreacting but I know it's more than that. I need people who understand for support and I'm glad to have found this site. I would love to talk to anyone who needs support too.

welcome onboard, Num and M.G. :)

I TOTALLY relate to the being angry part.

Dr. Joseph Santoro wrote a book about bpd entitled, "the angry heart". What an apt title.
