Hi dj.

If you are here to work on yourself, you're welcome. If you're here just to vent about the "damage" that's been done to you, it's not likely to go over very well here.

You might prefer The Nook, which is specifically for Nons.

I found this site through a Google search. I was diagnosed with bpd while deployed to Afghanistan, and while it's getting better, I've questions about civilian life the military can't answer. So I am here. :)

I'm here to work on myself as well!!! I've accomplished a lot in the past year that I'm really proud of, but I still need help and a shoulder(or two) to get through things I don't understand.

Hi Carrie, and welcome.

Venting is cool -- no problem there. But I'm glad to know you have things you want to work on as well. Check out the "Tools" in the box on the left for some ideas on ways to straighten out your thinking and behavior.

Glad you found us, hope to see you on the board.

Hi, newbie here. :) I'm 20 and have been diagnosed with BPD and bipolar disorder. I've joined forums before but they were really dead so I'm hoping I can finally talk to people about it here. Hi everyone! :D

Hi, I'm Snowie, from the US of A. Recently diagnosed with BPD and currently working on my DBT with my therapist. I've been looking for a good online support group. I look forward to meeting you all. :-)

My I suggest BPDCentral.com? Randi, the Owner is a really nice woman. I bought a couple of her books for my wife who suffers (not too silently, BTW) from me.

Hi y'all. Sorry no clever pix or avatar or whatever.

I'm the one with BPD (and the usual accessory problems). Good news, I discovered it myself. Bad news, I'm already 53, with a four year-old son from marriage #2 - which looks like said marriage is just about toasted.

Anyway, no point with the pity part and preaching to the choir. I'm here to uncover what I can to try and fix me...understanding that there is a relatively low success rate at my age. Like W.C. Fields said, "Youth is wasted on the young."

So it was your husband that posted before? If so, please register with your own user name. It can get very confusing for us, especially when we're talking about a couple.

Just thought that I would say HI since I'm new too.... This is my first crack at a board related to BPD. I am pretty sure that I have BPD but am waiting on a "real" diagnosis.... 8-)

Hi
My name is Sarah and I am a person with bpd. I was diagnosed a few years ago. I need help. Ive been in a 6 year relationship and we were engaged for 2 years. He suffers from depression and between his depression and my constant distrust, pushing away, and testing has driven us to call everything off and break up. I need help, so my next relationship can be meaningful.
